Issues accessing and interacting with HBI's Learning content are usually related to your browser. As always, HBI recommends accessing our LMS content on an up-to-date version of either Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
However, even with the correct browser, you may face issues. We recommend the following steps, before submitting a ticket:
1) Clear your browser data
In Edge
1. At the top right, click the Menu. It's the icon with 3 horizontally stacked dots.
2. Click History and click the icon with 3 horizontally stacked dots. From there, select Clear browsing data
3. In the new window, choose a time range that covers from when you started using the sim (ex: Last 7 days or Last 24 hours).
4. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
5. Click Clear now.
6. Open a new browser window and log into the sim.
In Chrome
1. At the top right, click More. It's the icon with 3 vertically stacked dots.
2. Click More tools > Clear browsing data.
3. At the top, choose a time range that covers from when you started using the sim (ex: Last 7 days or Last 24 hours).
4. Check the boxes next to Browsing History, Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files, Passwords and other sign-in data, Autofill form data.
5. Click Clear data.
6. Open a new browser window and log into the sim.
In Firefox
1. Click the menu button in the upper right corner. (It is the icon with 3 horizontal lines.)
2. Choose Options.
3. Select the Privacy & Security panel
4. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data

5. Remove the check mark in front of Cookies and Site Data.
6. With Cached Web Content check marked, click the Clear button
7. Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved
8. Open a new browser window and log into the sim
In Safari
1. From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab
2. Select "Show Develop menu in menu bar"

3. From the menu bar click Develop > Empty Caches
4. Open a new browser window and log into the sim
2) Disable ad-blocking and close other tabs
- Disable any kind of ad-blocking extensions
- Close other tabs and web browser windows
- Close other programs that may be consuming your computer's resources and network connection especially communications and messaging apps like Skype and make sure no downloads are being done (P2P, torrents or OS updates).
- If in Chrome, type chrome://flags/ in the address bar, ensure that "Override software rendering list" is "Enabled"
3) Make sure WebGL is enabled
Note: Only for users on unmanaged devices or device administrators
Enabling WebGL in Microsoft Edge
- In an Edge browser window, type edge://settings/system in the URL field.
- Ensure that "Use hardware acceleration when available" is checked. If you need to check it, be sure to restart your browser afterward so the change takes effect.
Enabling WebGL in Google Chrome

In a Chrome browser window, type chrome://settings/system in the URL field

Ensure that "Use hardware acceleration when available" is toggled to on (showing blue). If you must turn this on, close and relaunch Chrome afterward.
Enabling WebGL in Mozilla Firefox
- Open a browser window in Firefox. Type "about:config" in the URL address bar.
- In the search box, type "webgl.disabled"
- The value should be false if WebGL is enabled.
Enabling WebGL in Safari
- WebGL is enabled by default in Safari. If it's not working, please contact LMS Support.
