Step 1: Open your browser and navigate to hbi.litmos.com
If you’ve entered an incorrect username and password combination, you’ll see the following message:
After 5 incorrect login attempts, your account will be locked.
Step 2: You can unlock it by clicking the “I’ve forgotten my username/password” link.
Step 3: Enter your username and click Continue. A password reset link will be sent to your email.
If you can’t remember your username or if you are a student who does not have an email address on file with us, please contact your instructor.
Step 4: Once you’ve clicked Continue, you should see the above confirmation message.
If you do NOT see this message, please close your browser (Chrome, IE, Edge, Safari), and open a new browser window, type hbi.litmos.com to start over.
Step 5: Please check your inbox, spam, and junk folders for the reset email from HBI/Litmos (system@litmos.com). Open the message and click the link within to reset your password.
Step 6: After reviewing your information and creating a new password, make sure you are meeting minimum requirements: 8 characters: 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 number and 1 special character. Once all required fields are filled in, click Continue.
**Please make note of your new password.
Step 7: If the password reset procedure was successful, you will be logged into the user dashboard.
